Davido announces new donation to orphanages

 The Nigerian musician Davido is unwavering in his resolve to provide financial support to orphans in his country each year.

Using his social media networks, the Grammy-nominated artist announced that N300 million, or $186,764, will be donated again this year.

"To orphans across Nigeria, my charity and I promise to provide the sum of 300 million Naira. Details of the payout will be announced tomorrow, Davido wrote, as my annual donation to the nation."
