Ghanaian Musician Don Elvi Donates to Dzorwulu Special School, Hosts EP Listening Session With Students
Ghanaian hip-hop artist and philanthropist Don Elvi, known offstage as Solomon Yeboah Agyapong, on 11th June, made a significant social impact with a heartfelt donation and music experience for the students of Dzorwulu Special School.
As part of a community-focused initiative, Don Elvi and his team visited the school to engage directly with students living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The event featured a special listening session for his latest body of work, Crossroad EP, allowing the children to experience the sound and soul of the music in an interactive and inclusive setting.
“This visit means a lot to me. Music has always been a tool for connection, healing, and hope. Being here today with these amazing kids is a reminder of why we do what we do,” said Don Elvi during his remarks.
In addition to the listening experience, the artist donated a range of essential items to support the school’s operations and student welfare. These included packs of Peeva mineral water, food items, personal care products, and other consumables. A beautifully painted canvas was also presented to the school, symbolizing encouragement and creativity, with a bold message that read “Keep your head up.”
The school’s management expressed deep appreciation for the gesture, highlighting the positive emotional and psychological effect such interactions have on the students.
This outreach forms part of Don Elvi’s broader mission to use his music and influence to drive meaningful change. With the Crossroad EP now streaming across all platforms, the artist continues to bridge entertainment and impact—one community at a time.
