Queen Drie Unveils Debut EP “I HOPE THIS HELPS

Ghanaian-born, Chicago-raised artist Queen Drie has officially made her mark with the release of her debut EP, “I HOPE THIS HELPS”, which dropped August 15, 2025, on all major streaming platforms.

The six-track project blends Reggae, Bossa Nova, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Afrobeats, introducing Drie as a genre-bending storyteller whose music is both global and deeply personal. Reflective yet uplifting, the EP captures themes of freedom, truth, empowerment, and healing, offering listeners a spiritually grounded soundtrack for growth and self-discovery.

The opening track, “Nothing Is The Same”, sets the tone with a reggae-fusion call to clarity in an era of confusion, while “Get Up” challenges listeners to rise above fear and apathy. “Authenticity” rejects societal pressures in favor of truth, “Woman” celebrates feminine resilience, and the closing track, “Tell Me What You Want” featuring Ghanaian rapper KooKusi, reimagines Black love as safe, vulnerable, and spiritually affirming.

Speaking through her project, Queen Drie describes the EP as a sincere offering: “This is me. I hope this helps.”

With its poetic lyricism, cross-cultural collaborations, and spiritually rooted messages, “I HOPE THIS HELPS” establishes Queen Drie as a distinct new voice with global resonance. Her sound is already drawing comparisons to Lauryn Hill, Tems, and Noname — but her message and artistry stand uniquely on their own.
